Melee is a brutality-scaling mutation which makes melee attacks inflict the slow debuff on enemies for a short duration.

- Each melee attack slows enemies down for [0.4 base] seconds. Each melee hit adds 2 stacks of slow down.
- Scaling: 0.4 × 1.15Stat - 1 seconds

- This mutation is effective with melee attacks. It slows the movement of the enemies, allow the player to hit more or even breach the enemies.
History[edit]
- 0.5: Introduced.
- 0.7: Base DPS bonus increased from 60 to 120.
- 1.2: Reworked: Now slows enemies with melee attacks, instead of gaining bonus DPS if there are more than 2 enemies around.
- 2.1: No longer grants 1 second of Malaise protection from slowed enemies due to Malaise rework.
- 3.4: Buffed the slow down duration and stacks per proc:
- Now inflicts 2 stacks of slow instead of 1.
- Slow down duration increased from [0.2 base, 0.8 max] to [0.4 base, 1.6 max].
